Anthony Joshua next fight date is now confirmed. He will fight on Saturday, 25th June 2016 to defend his IBF heavyweight title at London’s O2 Arena. There are three names who might against Joshua for the title – Johann Duhaupas, Eric Molina and Dominic Breazeale.
The 2012 Olympic super-heavyweight gold medallist, Joshua has won his very first the IBF heavyweight world title defeating American Charles Martin. He won the title in his 16th professional fight only.
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn had said Joshua’s next fight was due to take place on 9 July at Wembley but due to Tyson Fury, the WBA, IBO and WBO heavyweight champion who announced his rematch with Wladimir Klitschko would take place on the same date. Now they are only looking at Johann Duhaupas (34 wins, 3 losses, 21 KOs), Eric Molina (25 wins, 3 losses, 19 KOs) and Dominic Breazeale (17 wins, 16 knockouts).
Eddie Hearns said that they would prefer Dominic Breazeale for 25th June fight in London.
