IBF super-bantamweight champion Carl Frampton has agreed to fight with world featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz in this summer. The actual fight date of Carl Frampton vs Leo Santa Cruz is not officially announced but it much likely to be in late July 2016.
It is confirmed that Carl Frampton and Leo Santa Cruz had signed up for the fight and it will take place in New York. The fight will be for the Leo Santa Cruz WBC featherweight titles.
In February, Frampton beat Scott Quigg in a super-bantamweight unification bout and won WBA belt but later stripped the WBA crown because he did not agree to a defence against mandatory challenger Guillermo Rigondeaux.
It is likely to be a co-featured fight in some PPV event but officially TV coverage details are not declared yet.
