After defeating Sri Lanka in the first ODI, Bangladesh is leading the ODI series with 1-0 and Tigers could seal a historic series win in the 3rd ODI on Saturday, 1st April 2017 as the 2nd match was abandoned due to rain. The match will start at 9.30 am Indian Standard Time (IST). You can watch the live telecast of the match on tv on TEN 1 HD and TEN 3. Alternatively, you can catch Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka 3rd ODI live streaming online on Sony LIV for free.
Bangladesh stunned Srilanka with an impressive performance in the Test series. They have followed up the same form in the one-day series also. Both sides collided at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium in the first one-day match of the three-match series that saw Bangladesh routing Srilanka by 90 runs. Mashrafe Mortaza’s side showed all-round cricketing skills against an underwhelming home side.
The second match of the series was called off due to heavy rain. In this match, Srilanka was unfortunate that the match was banned as they batted beautifully to put a very good total on the board. They would have probably won the second one day but the rain rescued the Bangladesh guys.
It seems like nothing is going in the favour of Srilanka. Both teams will play the third one day with much more intensity to making it a great of a contest to watch.
Srilanka would like to level the series whereas Bangladesh would love to create another upset here and stun the crowd by beating the much stronger side. If Bangladesh goes on to win this match then they would prove yet again that they are on the rise and are now capable of beating any side on their day.
Bangladesh’s top order looks very settled and ready to go as Tamim Iqbal and Sabbir Rahman are in good touch. Tamim constructed a match-winning hundred, while Sabbir led the charge with some excellent batting display. But the top order is the big concern for the Srilankan captain.
Tharanga will be a key player for the Srilankan side with all his experience and great batting skills. Another big advantage that Bangladesh will have is that Shakib and Mahmudullah displayed their exploits with the bat to near perfection in the first game of the series. Dinesh Chandimal, Asela Gunaratne, Milinda Siriwardana will have a lot of responsibility on their shoulder for Srilanka in the final match.
The bowling department looks perfect for Bangladesh as Skipper Mortaza, Taskin Ahmed is in brilliant form. But all is not good in the bowling department for the Srilankan side as all of their bowlers struggled to perform well in the first match and they did not the chance to roll over their arm in the second match.
All and all Bangladesh looks in the perfect shape and is more likely to create an upset here in the final game and could probably seal the series by 2-0 until Srilanka takes out something special from their bag.
