OPPO Mobiles India, the smartphone manufacturer, has bagged the Indian team sponsorship rights for a five-year period, starting April 1 2017. OPPO Mobiles to pay INR 1079 crore (USD 162 million) for the duration of five years. OPPO to yearly pay BCCI approximately $32m which is 215 crore INR. The five years deal starts on 1st April 2017 and continues until 31st March 2022 in that period, team India has to play 14 home series and 20 overseas series including the ICC Champions Trophy, ICC Cricket World Cup and the World T20.
