England beats New Zealand to Reach World T20 Final

England beats New Zealand by seven wickets to reach World Twenty20 final, led by Jason Roy’s amazing 78 runs knock.

After winning the toss, England elected to bowl first and restrict their opponents New Zealand’s to 153-8 at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Delhi.

Everyone thought New Zealand’s score was going to be competitive but Roy and Alex Hales stormed partnership and Jos Buttler amazing sixes seal the semi-final victory for England with 17 balls to spare.

England smashed the best bowling attack in the tournament and perform really well before the big final. Roy took only 26 balls to bring up his half-century in Twenty20 world cup 2016 as he put on 82 for the first wicket with Hales.

Jason Roy’s 78 runs off 44 balls with 2 sixes and 11 fours was awarded as ‘Man of the Match’.

“I felt there was a chance to go out there on a decent wicket and get off to a great start,” said man of the match Roy.

England team will face the winners of Today’s match between India and West Indies at Eden Gardens on Sunday for the final match of the tournament.
