ICC has announced the schedule of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 warm-up matches. A total of six matches will be played from May 26 to 30. The top eight ODI teams are participating in the Champions Trophy and scheduled to take place from June 1st to June 18th in England. India will their warm-up match against New Zealand and Bangladesh. The Champions Trophy 2017 is expected to be an entertaining as this will be the last edition of it.
The opening warm-up game is between the World Champions Australia and the 2011 World Cup finalists Sri Lanka at The Oval on 26th of May. In the next game, Asian-rivals Pakistan and Bangladesh will take on each other on the 27 May at Birmingham.
India and New Zealand will face each other on 28th of May followed by Australia vs Pakistan match on May 29. India will then take on Bangladesh on 29th of May at the Oval. On the 30th of May, New Zealand will lock horn Sri Lanka with Sri Lanka.
South Africa, Australia and other teams have already announced their squad for the tournament but India who is the current defending champion is yet to announce their 15-man squad for the tournament. India is set to play their first match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against arch-rival Pakistan on June 4. Here are the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 warm-up fixtures.
