fter defeating both New Zealand and England in home series, team India is all set to take on Bangladesh in a single match Test series. The match will take place at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. It will be played from February 9 to 13. It will be more like a practice match for Indian cricket team before facing Australia.
The squad for Bangladesh match is announced by the BCCI. Tamil Nadu opener Abhinav Mukund who last played for India in 2011 against England has made a comeback to the national squad. He is included in the squad as a third opener replacing Shikhar Dhawan.
The 27-year old left-hander has made his test debut in 2011 against the West Indies in Kingston where he played fiveTests and has scored 211 runs, at an average of 21.10. M Vijay and KL Rahul will likely to play in the playing XI while Gautam Gambhir has been left out of the squad.
Wriddhiman Saha who recently played the match-winning double century in the Irani Cup has back into the squad. Ajinkya Rahane also returned after being ruled out of the final two Tests against England due to injury in his index finger.
