BBCI has also announced the Indian squad for the tour of West Indies. Indian team is one of the popular cricket teams in the world and has always busy schedule, it set to continue as India and West Indies will play a cricket series. After failing to cross the final hurdle in the ICC Champions Trophy, Virat Kohli’s men will make their next stop against West Indies for five One-Day Internationals and one-off T20I series

After a defeat by Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy final, Virat Kohli and Co. will look to wash their bad dream against West Indies. India’s tour of Caribbean will begin with five matches One-day series which will start on 23rd June at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain. The ODI series will run from the 23rd June to 6th July. The only T20I will be played on 9th July. All the matches will be played at three venues, Queen’s Park Oval, Sir Vivian Richards Stadium and Sabina Park.

As per India vs West Indies 2017 schedule, the first ODI will be played on 23 June followed by 2nd ODI at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain and the 4th and 5th is on 30th June and 2nd July respectively at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The last ODI and only T20I will be played at Jamaica’s Sabina Park on 6th July and 9th July respectively.

Currently, players are busy in the ongoing IPL and after that, they will head to England to play Champions Trophy which is set to end on June 18. After a hectic schedule, the Indian team has to face West Indies for the ODI and T20 series. West Indies is not playing in the Champions Trophy which features top ODI teams. The team squads of both teams will be announced after the Champions Trophy. It is expected that BCCI may send second rung side for West Indies to give rest to senior players.

BCCI have picked a nearly same team that playing in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017  and the selectors have made only two changes in the squad. Opener Rohit Sharma Bumrah has been rested while Young wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant and 22-year-old chinaman Kuldeep Yadav got chance for the West Indies tour.
