Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) for the first time in match number 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 tonight at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. The match will start at 4 PM Indian Standard Time (IST). Sony SIX/HD, Sony MAX and Sony ESPN/HD will have the live telecast of DD vs. KKR match while online fans can go to HotStar to catch the SRH Vs KXIP live streaming free.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) looked well on course to defend their title in the way they started this season by winning two consecutive games quite comfortably and looked very settled. But, now they have lost their last two and everything does not look good. Nobody looks good with the bat expect their skipper David Warner, and once he gets out, their batting order starts tumbling. This happened in both the games that they lost against the Mumbai Indians (MI) as well as the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Their bowling also now looks a bit shaky expect Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan. Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh and Moises Henriques need to step up to put up a formidable display with the bat and Ashish Nehra and Ben Cutting need to support Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan in their bowling exploits.
Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) also face a similar problem. They also started their IPL campaign brilliantly by winning their first two games comprehensively and looked like their 2014 self. But then again, they also lost their next two games to Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Delhi Daredevils (DD). They lost both these matches by huge margins. They lost to KKR by 8 wickets with three and a half overs remaining and lost to Delhi by a massive 51 runs and now look in all sorts of trouble.
Nobody is putting their hands up to take the responsibility with the bat. Glenn Maxwell and David Miller have not found any sort of form with the bat and Hashim Amla has been getting blazing starts but is just not able to build on it. With the ball also things look quite flat. Varun Aaron has been way too expensive whereas Sandeep Sharma and Mohit Sharma look quite average. Only Axar Patel has been consistent both with the bat and the ball and we all know that this is a team sport.
The two teams have played each other 8 times with Sunrisers enjoying a lopsided 6-2 head to head and have won 3 out of the 4 games played at their home. KXIP haven’t won against the Sunrisers since the 2014 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
