Mahendra Singh Dhoni shocked every cricket fans yesterday when he announced the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) that he resigns as captain of India’s One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International side. MS Dhoni who has achieved everything that one cricketer can dream. He has been one of the greatest captains India has ever had. He is the only captain to have won all three ICC Trophies – ODI World Cup, World Twenty20 and Champions Trophy.

The 35-year-old had already retired from Test cricket in December 2014 but now he is completely retired from all three formats of the game. But he will be available for 3 ODIs and 3 T20s against England. Dhoni had led team India successfully and took India to the greatest height. Mahendra Singh Dhoni also holds the record for most matches as captain of an international side, with 331 games across all formats.
