Pakistan Super League 2017 Schedule, Time Table & Teams

The 4th season of the Pakistan Super League, HBL PSL 2019 start date is confirmed, it will be played from 14 February 2019 and the big final to be played on 17 March in Karachi. The full PSL 2019 schedule and time table are yet to be officially announced by the PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board). The T20 cricket tournament will be played in a double round-robin format and the top four teams will playoffs. PSL 2019 draft date will be announced soon.

PSL 2019 is similar to the other cricket leagues in the world where teams first have to play a group stage followed by the playoffs where the top four sides face each other to qualify for the final. The 2019 PSL will feature six team franchises teams including five teams from previous seasons – Islamabad United, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators and a new team Multan Sultans.

The tournament features some popular international stars such as Shane Watson, West Indies’ Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Dwayne Smith, New Zealand star batsman Brendon McCullum, English T20 skipper Eoin Morgan and more. The number of match days for the PSL 2018 is expected to be increased. The opening ceremony of Pakistan Super League 2018 will be held one day before the first match in Dubai. Ten Sports is the official broadcaster of 2018 PSL.

The PSL 2019 players would be categorised into five groups – Diamond, Silver, Platinum, Gold and Emerging. According to the PSL 2018 schedule, the competition will for 30 days and tournament feature 24 matches including playoffs. The teams will first plays group stage in a round robin format and after the end of group stage, the top four teams will qualify for the semi-final rounds where two winner team will take on each other in the final to become HBL PSL 2017 champion.

As per Pakistan Super League PSL 2019 schedule, the 4th edition of the Pakistan Super League is going to start on 14 February 2019 before IPL 2019. All matches of the tournament will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium. The final match of the PSL 2019 may be scheduled to play in Pakistan.
