This inclusion could mean that Virat might not be able to play in the final match against Aussies. This could be a huge news for Indian fans as everyone was expecting that he would return to form in the match and led the team to victory.
Kohli suffered a shoulder injury on the first day of the test match in Rachi while fielding near the boundary. Kohli was uncomfortable in the whole match and could be the main reason for his failure in the previous test match. He was immediately taken to the hospital for MRI scan.
The MRI report showed no sign of the serious injury to Kohli bu he was seen struggling with his shoulder in the entire match. But, never say die spirit shown by Kohli as he stepped up and fielded the whole day on the last day of the test match. This indicated that there was nothing serious about the injury.

He has been in good form in the domestic matches and is a consistent performer for the Mumbai side. If he plays in the final match then he would have the biggest opportunity to break into the team India lineup.
Now, It remains to been seen whether team management decides to give rest to Kohli and include Shreyas Iyer on the side. But, it’s highly unlikely that Virat will give up so easily. He is known for the aggressive and never say die spirit.
He will try to play this match and lead the side to victory in another test series and end the home season on high. It also remains to been that whether team India decides to go with 6 or 7 batsmen in the final test match.
