5. Adam Gilchrist  & Mark Waugh


From 1998 to 2002 this two were best openers for the Australia. In 1999 World Cup they were a successful opening pair. Gilchrist was a hard hitter and used to just smashing them all over the ground and on another hand Mark Waugh was a class player who used to play all classic technical shot on the ground so this used to make this pair more dangerous.
