Virat Kohli set to make IPL return for Royal Challengers Bangalore

The RCB fans would be delighted to hear this news as their favourite player is nearly all set to take the field. Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, Virat Kohli could take the charge of his team from the next match against Mumbai Indians. This is the second biggest new for the RCB fans in the span of very few days.

First, AB de Villers is fit to play in the IPL and now he will be joined by India’s best batsman at this moment Virat Kohli. There could not be any batter news for the Indians fans also who were hoping for his quick recovery as India will look to defend its champions league title in June.

Virat Kohli set to make IPL

Virat Kohli was injured in the recently concluded test series against Australia. He injured his shoulder while fielding in the test match in Rachi. It was due to this injury, he was not able to play freely in the test series. He was also ruled out of the final test match of the series because of this injury.

Virat himself said before the start of the IPL that national side is more important to him that the IPL side. He also said that since champions trophy is nearby he would not take any chance with his fitness and would not take the field if he is not 120% fit. It seems like he is now ready and eager to go out them and hit some big sixes.

RCB has suffered two losses in the three games that they have played. They form has been very poor especially with the bat. It was considered that RCB has the best batting lineup in the IPL but the way they have batted in this season clearly suggest that they depend largely in the like of Virat Kohli and Ab de Villers.

In the last match also RCB got out for 140 odd runs and out of the total score 80 odd runs were made by AB de Villers. This stat clearly indicates that how much RCB batting depends on AB de Villers.

But it seems like all is good for RCB now as they are nearly up to their full strength. Now their batting order looks very dangerous with Kohli and Gayle opening the inning and de Villers and Watson coming after them. This is what RCB fans wanted to see.

Now, it depends on the team management that whether they want to play Virat in the next match which is against Mumbai Indians or they want to wait for one more game just to safe with the fitness of Virat Kohli.
