Mercedes’ Valtteri Bottas won his first race in Formula 1 2017 season at the Russian Grand Prix in a thrilling race. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel finished second followed by Vettel’s team-mate Kimi Raikkone. The fourth round of Formula 1 season, Russian Grand Prix 2017 is taking place from 28 to 30 April 2017 at the Sochi Autodrom, Sochi. Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel registered his 44th win of his career at the Bahrain Grand Prix and leading the drivers standing with 68 points. Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton is second in the table followed by team mate Valterri Bottas in third. The Sunday race of Formula One Russian Grand Prix will take place on 30 April.

Russian Grand Prix 2016 Highlights

Rosberg dominated from the beginning, winning comfortably from Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton while Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen rounded out the podium.

Nico Rosberg won the fourth race of the season and 7th win in a row, increases his lead in the world championship. Hamilton climbed from his starting position of 10th into second place but failed to give any  serious challenge to Rosberg. Earlier, Sebastian Vettel had launched into a foul-mouthed rant after a collision with Daniil Kvyat ended his race on the first lap.

Nico Rosberg is top of the table of drivers standings of the year 2016 with 100 points while Lewis Hamilton is at second spot with 57 points and Kimi Raikkonen is third with 43 points. Check latest F 1 world driver championship 2016 standings.
