Bengaluru FC, Mohun Bagan AFC 2017 Schedule & Fixtures

The two big clubs of Indian football, Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC is all set for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) 2017. The matches are scheduled to be played this week.  Mohun Bagan will play in the AFC Cup 2017 qualifying playoff preliminary round while 2015-16 I-League champions Bengaluru FC will play in the AFC Champions League 2017 qualifying playoff preliminary round 2.

Bengaluru FC and Mohun Bagan will start their AFC 2017 campaign on 31 January 2017. Bagan will face Colombo (Sri Lanka) while Bengaluru will take on Al-Wehdat (Jordan) at the Sugathadasa Stadium and King Abdullah II Stadium, Amman respectively.

Kolkata giant Mohun Bagan will have to win first preliminary round matches and after that playoff games to reach the AFC Cup 2017 group stage round. The 2015–16 Indian Federation Cup winners, Bagan is a part of the South Asia zone and he if they win in the play-off round then they will advance to the group stage to join the 29 direct entrants of AFC Cup 2017.

Meanwhile, Bengaluru FC already in Group E of AFC Cup 2017 (Inter-zone play-off semi-finals) but they will look to reach the AFC Champions League 2017 group stages. They will their first match in the AFC Champions League 2017 qualifying playoff preliminary round 2 on 31st January 2017.
