FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 Tickets to Cost Rs 48

The ticket pricing has been revealed for the upcoming FIFA U-17 football World Cup 2017 in India. The tickets price for the first phase of the sale is set to be Rs.48. The first phase of the sale will begin from May,16. The ticket sale will be flagged off by Spanish world cup winner Carles Puyol.

The ticket for the first phase will be available from 16th May but the printed copies of those tickets will be available from 7th July. The league draw will be made on 6th July. The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup will be held in six different cities across India from 6th October. This tournament is scheduled to go for 28 days and the final will be played on 28th October.

In this tournament, a total of 24 teams will participate including the host nation India. This will be the first time that India will participate in some big tournament in football. It’s a great opportunity for Indian player to get some experience of the big stage. This also provides a great opportunity for Indian fans to see the young star players from different parts of the world. Nobody knows, there might be some young player like Messi or Ronaldo in some of the team. This tournament will also promote football in India and would prompt young kids to take football as their carrier.

The matches will be played in six different cities. These are Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Goa and Kochi. The first phase of the ticket sale will start at 19:11 hours IST on 16th May.

The category three tickets will be available at Rs 48. The entire package for the 10 matches at Kolkata will cost a total of Rs 480.

The sale of other category tickets will be opened later. The category one and two tickets will cost Rs 1600 and Rs 800 respectively.These rates will be applicable only when you will buy the ticket in advance. If you opt to buy these tickets during the match, then it would cost you more than Rs100.

The main reason for this low price of the ticket is that the organizing committee wants to encourage local people to come and watch the match. This is done to increase the popularity of football in India. This move will surely attract a large number of people to come and watch some brilliant football.
