One of the top football teams in the world, Germany announced the team squad for FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers matches. The Manchester City midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan returns ahead of upcoming World Cup qualifiers matches. He missed the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2016 because of injury. He last played for Die Nationalmannschaft in November against France and after that he missed a year of international football.
Germany’s coach Joachim Loew released the list of 22 players for the 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Czech Republic on 8th October and aginst Northern Ireland 12th October 2016.
Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos and Barcelona keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen were also included in the squad with Mario Gomez and Jerome Boateng. The squad is looking very young with players like Schalke’s Max Meyer, Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich and Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl.
