Italian Serie A 2017-18 Fixtures: Full Schedule Released Date

The most popular Italian football tournament, Italian Serie A 2016-17 fixtures and complete match schedule to be announced on 22nd July 2017. The Serie A 2017/18 season is likely to start in August 2017 and will conclude in May 2017. Serie A could be set to play over four days to attract more peoples same like la Liga. The 2017-18 Serie A season may witness new kick off time as per proposed changes. Currently, it is played on Saturday and Sunday and games kick off at 18:00 and 20:45 CET. The 2017–18 Serie A TIM is the 116th edition of Italy’s oldest football tournament. Juventus is the defending champion of Series A 2017/18 season.

Serie A fixtures for the 2017-18 season is yet to be released by the officials. It is confirmed that Serie A will use VAR (Video Assistant Referee) technology and will remove the two additional referees placed on the touchline. There are 5 mid-weeks matchdays set to be played in midweek (dates will be announced later) and 6 weeks (4 weeks of international breaks and 2 weeks of Christmas break). Italian Super Cup (Charity Shield) will be played on Sunday, 21 August 2017.
