The kabaddi fever is once again to spread in India as the fifth season of the Pro Kabaddi League is set to begins on July 28 with Telugu Titans taking on Tamil Thalaivas. PKL season 5 will be bigger and better from last seasons because, for the first time, the league feature total 12 teams and all the teams were divided into two zones of six each. The league will run from three months and a total of 140 matches will be played. But the most important question among the fans is who will win PKL season 5 title? This year every team look balanced, have young and talented players in the squad. So, only three teams have lifted the Pro Kabaddi League trophy. The inaugural season was won by Jaipur Pink Panthers and season 2 by U Mumba while the last two season was won by the Patna Pirates.

In the fifth edition of Pro Kabaddi League, the team who will have goods balance of raiders and defender would win the tournament. Haryana Steelers

Haryana Steelers is a new team but they have bought some of the finest raiders and defenders in the auction for the PKL 2017. The attacking department will depend on experienced Sonu Narwal, Surjeet Singh and young players like Deepak Dahiya and Prashant Rai while defending will depend on defenders like Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar. Khomsan Thongkam of Thailand will debut in the Pro Kabaddi League for the Haryana Steelers.

U Mumba 

U Mumba has the strongest attack in the PKL season 5 and team will look to win the title once again under the leadership of Captain Cool, Anup Kumar. The winners of Season 2, U Mumba’s defence is not that good but they have some of the quality Raiders who will fill the gap.

UP Yoddhas

The teams have bought the most expensive player in the history of PKL and he Nitin Tomar who helped India to win the world cup with his good performance. The former U Mumba player, Risgank Devadiga will also look to perform for the team. Apart from two, UP Yoddhas will also enjoy service of Rajesh Narwal and Mahesh Goud and Surender Singh.

Puneri Paltan

Puneri Paltan will be led by a raider Deepak Hooda in the Pro Kabaddi League 2017. The teams have a heavy attack in form of captain Hooda who has 342 raid points in 57 matches along with Sandeep Narwal, Rajesh Mondal and talented Rohit Kumar Chaudhary.
