The 5th season of the popular professional Kabaddi tournament, Star Sports VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2017 is scheduled to start on Friday, July 28 and will run until 28 October. The first four seasons of the league was very successful and fans are all set to experience the much-awaited return for PKL season 5 with more teams and more matches. The Pro Kabaddi League season 5 will now see four more new teams apart from eight old teams — Telugu Titans, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi, Bengal Warriors, Puneri Paltan, Patna Pirates, Jaipur Pink Panthers and U Mumba who will fight for the PKL5 title. The four new teams are Tamil Thalaivas, UP Yoddha, Gujarat Fortune Giants and Haryana Steelers. Pro Kabaddi League 2017 will feature over 130 matches, spread across 11 states over a period of 13 weeks.

All the matches of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 2017 will live telecast on television by Star Sports Network. Kabaddi fans can watch Hindi coverage of the Pro Kabaddi 2017 live on  Star Sports 1 Hindi and Star Sports 1 HD while the Tamil PKL 2017 coverage will be available on Star Sports 1 Tamil and Star Sports 1 Tamil HD. The English commentary available on Star Sports 2 and Star Sports HD 2.

The live coverage of Pro Kabaddi League’s first match starts at 8:00 pm IST and the second match at 9 pm IST.
