The tournament will take place in Ahmedabad, Gujrat. The Indian team is very confident to win eight titles in a row and hot favorites to lift the trophy. Kabaddi World Cup 2016 Captains & Coaches of all Teams

Before the tournament starts, let’s take a look at the Kabaddi World Cup 2016 captains and coaches of all the 12 participating countries.

India

Captain- Anup Kumar. He is a well-known face in Kabaddi and become quite popular while playing in Pro Kabaddi. The 2016 South Asian Games gold medallist leads U Mumba in Pro Kabaddi and knows how to defeat opponents with clever moves and decisions.

Coaches- Balwan Singh

Iran:

Captain- Meraj Sheykh. The Iranian all-rounder will be leading the Iran team in Kabaddi World Cup 2016. He is also a popular face in India due to involvement in Pro Kabaddi. The captain said that his team is confident to win the world title.

Coaches- Kianoush Naderian and Ebad Daliri

Australia:

Captain- Cambell Brown. He will lead the Australian team in the tournament.

Coaches- The former captain of the Jaipur Pink Panthers, Navneet Gautam and Srinivas R. Lingampelly.

Argentina:

Captain- Desoclo S. Elias is the skipper for the Argentina a South American team.

Coaches- Ricardo Acuna and Claudio Buezas

England:

Captain- Someshwar Kalia. He will lead the English team in Kabaddi World Cup 2016. He is confident with his good squad to win the World title this year.

Coaches- Ashok Das the founder of the England Kabaddi Association and  rugby player Phoebe A. Schecter.

United States Of America:

Captain- Troy Bacon.

Coach- Mohinder Sidhu

Bangladesh:

Captain- Md. Arduzzaman Munshi. He is the captain of the of Bangladesh team. He won the bronze medal at the last Asian Games held in 2010.

Coaches- Subimal C. Das and Md Ziaur Rahman

Japan:

Captain- Masayuki Shimokawa. He is a former player of U Mumba and currently playing with the Jaipur Pink Panthers will lead the Japan.

Coaches- Kiejun Itoh and Kokei Ito

Kenya:

Captain- David Mosambay. He has experience of Pro Kabaddi League while playing in Puneri Paltan.

Coaches- Atieno O Laventer and Odhiambo O Shadrack

Poland:

Captain- Michal Spiczko. He has played earlier for the Bengaluru Bulls and know how to win the matches.

Coaches- Harwinder Singh and Filip Klowskowski

South Korea:

Captain- Dong Ju Hong. He will lead the Korea and will play first match against India. He won the bronze medals at the 2013 Incheon Asian Indoor Games and the 2014 Incheon Asian Games being captain of the team.

Coaches- Jae-ho Cho and Hee-Jong Kim

Thailand:

Captain- Tin Phonchoo. He is the skipper of Thailand side and former player of the Dabang Delhi side.

Coaches-  Panya Athiwat and Nasome Suttirak
