India comes back strongly and defeated Australia in their next match of Kabaddi World Cup 2016. Men in Blue beat Aussies with 54-20 to record their first win of the tournament on 8th October 2016. India lost their first game against South Korea in a very exciting match with 32-34. With this win, India showed why they are favorite for the tournament.
Pardeep Narwal scored five raid points while Manjeet Chhillar got a high five for India. Kuldeep Singh scored three points for Australia in the first half.
India rested Rahul Chaudhari and Jasvir Singh and gave the chance to Pardeep Narwal and Sandeep Narwal to play a match against Australia. Ajay Thakur was the highest scorer of the match who scored seven points as a substitute. Indian substitutes players played a good role in the victory with 20 points.

India dominated the entire match. In the fourth minute, the Indian team was leading with 6-0 and in the fifth minute, India took 10-0 lead. Australia tried to come back in the game but in the 11th minute, India took the lead of 20-2.
Australia’s defense was very poor against India and failed to score any point in the game. In overall, Australian captain Campbell Brown scored five points while Kuldeep Singh showed some good performance in a second half but India was too ahead for Australia to catch them and won by 54-20.
India’s overall performance was very good and will look to carry it in next match against Bangladesh on Tuesday, 11 October 2016.
