Australian MotoGP 2017 Highlights & Race Results

Honda’s Marc Marquez won the Australian MotoGP 2017 to get closer towards the championship title. The 16th round of MotoGP 2017 season was very important for Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso and Maverick Viñales as both still have a small window to win the title. But Marc Marquez claimed his sixth win of the season at the 2017 MotoGP Grand Prix of Australia in a thrilling race. Watch Australian MotoGP 2017 highlights video and race results.

The Australian MotoGP took place at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, Phillip Island. The Grand Prix started with Friday’s practice session of Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP while the qualifying rounds took take place on Saturday, 21 October. The Sunday’s MotoGP race starts at the 13.00 UK time.

Australian MotoGP 2017 highlights

Marc Marquez won the 2017 MotoGP title and ends the hope of Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo to win the championship. Now they will fight for the Manufacturer championship where Honda and Yahama are giving competition to each other.

Cal Crutchlow has won the Australian MotoGP 2016 at the Phillip Island and grabbed his second victory of the season. It was an exciting race and motoGP fans were on peak when Valentino Rossi who charged from 15th and finished at the second place.  Maverick Vinales finished third after winning a battle with Aleix Espargaro and Andrea Dovizioso.
