MotoGP Grand Prix of France 2017 Highlights & Race Results

Maverick Vinales has won a thrilling French MotoGP at Le Mans after team-mate Valentino Rossi ran wide at the Garage Vert hairpin on the last lap. Johann Zarco finsihed second infornt of home fans. Rossi tried hard part to beat Johann Zarco but while chasing Vinales, he hit the deck and failed to refire the machine. The MotoGP 2017 moves into Round 5 of the calendar and World Championship table is looking very interesting as both Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi and Maverick Viñales grabs the first and second position respectively. French MotoGP 2017 is scheduled to take place from 19 to 21 May at the Circuit Bugatti, Le Mans. Rossi will look to extend his lead at the top of the MotoGP standings on Sunday at the Grand Prix of France in Le Mans.

The French grand Prix will begin with Friday’s practice sessions on 19 May 2017. The qualifying race will take place on Saturday, 20 May 2017 while the Sunday’s race will take place on 21 May 2017. BT Sports 2 will have the live streaming and coverage on tv of the entire MotoGP weekend for the UK viewers.

The Circuit des 24 Heures or Circuit de la Sarthe is located in Le Mans, Maine, France. It is 13.629 kilometres (8.47 mi) long which makes it one of the longest circuits in the world.

Jorge Lorenzo dominates the French MotoGP and won by 10 seconds over Valentino Rossi. Suzuki’s Maverick Vinales took his first ever MotoGP podium after Honda’s Marquez and Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso both fell out at almost exactly the same time. Lorenzo now leads the 2016 MotoGP title race ahead of Marc Marquez after winning this weekend at Le Mans’ Bugatti circuit.
