Malaysia MotoGP 2016 Highlights & Race Results

Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso has won Malaysian MotoGP 2016 at Sepang. It was the Italian’s first victory since 2009. Valentino Rossi and his teammate Jorge Lorenzo finished 2nd and 3rd respectively. The second last round of MotoGP 2016 season, Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2016 will start from 28th October and end on Sunday, 30 October. In the previous race, Honda’s Marc Marquez who is new MotoGP world champion crashed out with 18 laps to go. British driver Cal Crutchlow won the race at the Australian MotoGP at Phillip Island. The nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi was second and Maverick Vinales third.

The Malaysia MotoGP will take place at the Sepang International Circuit, Selangor. The Grand Prix will start with Friday’s practice session of Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP while the qualifying rounds will take place on Saturday, 29th October. The Sunday’s MotoGP race will start at the 8.00 UK time.
