Jorge Lorenzo has won the opening MotoGP grand prix of 2016 season in Qatar. Having started in pole position head lead from start to finish, starting his 2016 season where he left off last year. Italian Andrea Dovizioso finished runnerup while Marc Marquez was close third.
Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix weekends starts with the first practice sessions on 17th March, this Thursday, unlike other Grand Prix. MotoGP viewers can watch entire 2016 MotoGP live on BT Sports.

Qatar MotoGP 2016 preview:
This will be the most experienced lineup because 21 full time riders and only one rookie makes the grid in the opening race with around 95 grand Prix wins between them.
The Austrian Grand Prix is scheduled for MotoGP 2016 after 19 years. The race will be held at the Red Bull Ring, which was the venue of the last Austrian Grand Prix, when the track was called A1 Ring. The Indianapolis round has been discontinued. For the first time in the history of the Dutch TT, the races will be held on a Sunday.
