Jorge Lorenzo Won Valencia MotoGP 2016 [Highlights & Race Results]

Jorge Lorenzo won the Valencia MotoGP 2016 and signed off Yamaha with a victory. Marquez who won the MotoGP 2016 championship title finished second ahead of Iannone who finished third. There was tough competition between Rossi and Iannone for the third place but in the end, Iannone managed to win the battle.  Watch Valencia MotoGP 2016 highlights video and race results below.

The last and 18th round of MotoGP 2016 season, Spanish Grand Prix will take from 11th to 13th November 2016 at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia. Jorge Lorenzo will race final time in the MotoGP for Yamaha at Valencia because Spaniard is switching to Ducati for 2017 MotoGP season.  The practice session will start on Friday, 11 November while qualifying round will take place on 12 November. The final MotoGP race of 2016 will take place on 13th November.

This race is not much important in terms of a championship but all riders will look to end the season on positive note. Marc Márquez has already won the 2016 championship title while Rossi finished 2nd. Lorenzo will look to finish third as both Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi ahead of him.

Valencia MotoGP 2016 Highlights

The Valencia circuit has been resurfaced which made some noticeable difference on the track which will help the riders several corners have been reshaped while bumps have been removed. There were numerous crashes happened at Valencia circuit which includes the Rossi-Marquez clash and Marco Simoncelli tragical accidental death in the opening laps of the race.
