Paul Pogba back to Manchester United at World Record Transfer Fee of €105 Million

Paul Pogba back to Manchester United at a World Record Transfer Fee

Record Transfer signing begun since 2009 when the goal scoring beast Cristiano Ronaldo the Manchester United star striker was signed by Real Madrid for a World Record Transfer Fee of  £80 million

The record signing was further broken by the wales international Gareth Bale, a move from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid in 2013 for £86 million

Well, these stars of the football world are familiar to everyone but as the Records are meant to be broken this French international Midfielder is back to his original club Manchester United, the club where he started his career. Pogba joined United from French club Le Havre in 2009 as a 16-year-old youth academy player., he hardly made any appearances for the Devils before his contract expired in July 2012 and this was the firm reason for him to leave the club and join the Italian giants Juventus

Pogba has made 178 appearances for Juventus, scoring 34 goals, and helped the club reach the 2015 Champions League final. The Serie A side had offered him a new contract, while Real Madrid was also interested in signing him

His agent Mino Raiola mentioned that a number of clubs were interested in his client and continued to deny a deal with United had been agreed.

On Saturday, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri summoned Pogba to train, but just a day later United announced the player would have a medical – and on Monday he arrived at Manchester.

Pogba’s Honours

  • Under-20 World Cup winner and player of the tournament (2013)
  • 4 Serie A titles (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016)
  • 2 Italian Cups (2015, 2016)
  • 2 Italian Super Cups (2014, 2015)

Is Paul Pogba expensive?

I Don’t feel Pogba is Expensive InFact he seems to be Over Expensive especially with the price tag of 105 million Euros that’s approximately 777 crores INR. Though his achievement with the Juve side is never the less Pogba is Under-20 World Cup winner for France and player of the  tournament 2013, Won 4 Serie A titles 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2 Italian Cups 2015, 2016 2 Italian Super Cups 2014, 2015.

Jose Mourinho the Manchester United Boss eagerly wanting to sign him made his Transfer negotiations to reach such heights.

After protracted talks, it appeared that United will pay a £95 million €112.6m transfer fee for the 23-year-old plus £20m €23.7m to Pogba’s agent Mino Railo’s fee.

The amount that the clubs would pay Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, was the main sticking point in talks, as Juve had insisted that the Old Trafford club pays it all. So Much money for a young 23-year-old french midfielder definitely seems to be a long term investment but it’s surely an exaggerated amount of money spent for this Transfer.
