WWE Schedule 2017 & Upcoming PPV List: No Mercy, Survivor Series Date, Location

Every year total 12 PPV took place but after the brand split many old PPV ahs been added to the WWE calendar which increased the numbers. WWE now holds two PPV each month while big WWE PPV like Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, Summerslam & Survivor Series features superstars from both RAW and SmackDown brands also called as a dual brand. There are some interesting PPV events listed in the WWE PPV schedule 2017.

The first PPV event of the year will be Royal Rumble where both RAW and SmackDown superstars will appear and will also shape the storyline for WrestleMania 33. So, let’s take a look at the WWE PPV schedule 2017.

1. Royal Rumble

Royal Rumble is the major PPV in the WWE history and from this PPV, the road to Wrestlemania begins for all the WWE superstars. On this PPV each wrestler gets his chance to be in “Main Event” of the Wrestlemania. Winner of the Royal Rumble match gets a title shot against WWE Universal Champion or WWE World Champion.

2. Elimination Chamber

Elimination Chamber is back as a SmackDown branded event for WWE fans. The Elimination Chamber match consist six wrestlers and the bout began with two while the other four are held within each inner chamber. After every five minutes one of the four participants is released.

3. Fastlane

Fastlane began two years back and all the WWE universe is unhappy about this PPV because it changes the scenario for Wrestlemania matches. However, Before Wrestlemania, it will be happening and it will be a RAW exclusive PPV.

4. WrestleMania 33

WrestleMania is the grandest stage of all it’s a “Showcase” of the WWE. According to the Jim Ross stated that Wrestlemania 33 will give an idea about the success or failure of the brand split. This Wrestlemania expected to the last match of the Undertaker’s career. There are rumors that Undertaker is going to fight with John Cena.

5. Payback

Payback will be a RAW exclusive PPV where all the Wrestlemania rematches or feuds will continue. Also beginning for new storylines and feuds.

6. Extreme Rules

In this PPV all the matches used to be rematches of the Wrestlemania. However, previously this PPV was RAW exclusive whereas it can be changed to SmackDown because of the brand split.

7. Money In The Bank

Money In The Bank briefcase will be hung top of the ring and six superstars will be fighting for that briefcase. It’s tough to say now which brand will own this PPV. Whoever own this Money In The Bank briefcase he will get title shot at anytime and anyplace

8. Battleground

NXT Takeover started from 2015 and it’s NXT exclusive pay-per-view and this will happen before SummerSlam.

10. SummerSlam

SummerSlam is one of the big PPV in the WWE and it will be dual branded pay-per-view. However, WWE failed to give the best show but we can expect something more next year.

11. Backlash

Backlash reintroduced to the WWE this year. It was the first PPV by SmackDown Live after the brand split. The Backlash came back after 7 years to the WWE.

Clash Of Champions reintroduced this year by WWE it was one of the most iconic PPV back in WCW. Whereas, Red brand owns this pay-per-view.

Another WCW pay-per-view is coming back to WWE again after a long time. It was started back in 1999 and it was there till 2008 but now in 2016 it’s reintroduced by blue brand.

Hell In Cell pay-per-view is famous for his stipulation themed matches. Whereas, Many of the matches used to be played in a Steel Cage matches.
